Feeling extremely lucky to live in 2026 and have access to such incredible medicine and clinical research.
On the eve of my 40th I had my first dose (monthly injection) of a new treatment that I’m hopeful will prevent me from ever having a heart attack or stroke.
This drug will shift my physiology towards those who won the genetic lottery when it comes to atherosclerosis. I won’t get the benefit from birth but I’ll have it from here on out.
Why take this drug?
Well, full details to come in a series of YouTube which will also include my very own serial CTA angiogram results from the Lundquist Institute.
For now here’s some background information:
I had two scans done so I could see my baseline level of plaque and annualised plaque progression.
These scans were done under the supervision of @BudoffMd using the same machines/tech (Qangio and Heartflow analysis) as done in the latest Keto-CTA study (led by @realDaveFeldman) allowing for a reasonable comparison group (metabolically healthy individuals without a prior cvd event not on lipid lowering therapy). Yes I’m an n=1 and comparing myself to the mean has limitations but it’s helpful for me as an individual.
The main difference being that at age 29 I changed to a high fibre low saturated fat diet which lowered my LDL-C and ApoB to 70-90 mg/dl over the last decade.
In KETO-CTA 21% had a PAV annual change of 1% or higher by QAngio. That’s considered rapid progression. And total plaque grew by 18.7 mm3 per year on average (mean 18.7 mm3/median 6.6mm3).
I can also compare my results to Nature-CT - a great new study performed by @RonKarlsbergMD with annualised plaque progression for untreated (not on lipid lowering therapy) adults with average LDL-C of 111mg/dl. Over 5 years the group median non-calcified plaque nearly doubled. Total plaque grew by +6.7 mm3 per year (much less than KETO-CTA) despite 54% having a CAC of 0. Showing plaque progression in untreated adults with ‘normal’ cholesterol levels.
Episodes with CT imaging experts and clinicians will be found on my YouTube channel and made freely available so you can understand the science and decision making process here - and perhaps apply it to yourself with your own doctor.
Any guesses of what drug this is?
Hint: it’s thought to act peripherally - doesn’t cross the blood brain barrier. And it acts in circulation but its desired effect plays out at the liver (hepatocyte).

🚨 BREAKING: LEGAL UPDATE
Yesterday, I filed an emergency motion with the Court after armed sheriff's deputies appeared at the homes of three Recorder's Office employees and informed them they were under criminal investigation.
This began after Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell acted on false allegations made by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and the Elections Department against my employees.
What was their alleged offense?
Attempting to use equipment County records show was purchased entirely with Recorder's Office funds and is owned exclusively by the Recorder's Office.
The same equipment the Court has already found was unlawfully taken from the Recorder's Office.
This is the most extreme escalation in a long campaign of retaliatory actions taken by the Board against my staff.
Over the last year, the Board has repeatedly targeted Recorder's Office employees with false accusations, personal attacks, and retaliatory actions for doing their jobs. Multiple members of my senior staff have required outside counsel to defend against malicious actions taken against them by the Board. My employees have been threatened, doxed, and publicly accused of misconduct for simply carrying out their official duties under Arizona law.
This is not cooperation. This is retaliation.

I was calling out this psyop a couple of years before the CICP data appeared. If it was a million US citizens receiving million$ payouts then I would have conceded I was wrong. It is way, way more extreme than that to the negative. Two hundred people receiving a couple of weeks wages (and the majority of them are misdiagnosed stress cardiomyopathy from succumbing to the fear porn). Excuse me if I claim vindication.
If the covid vaccine caused serious injury in 0.1% then there are a quarter of a million aggrieved parties in the US alone. Apparently they've all just taken it on the chin, not bothered to legal up and not even bothered to post on here.

The Board is having a full meltdown because I objected to a resolution unlawfully giving themselves control over ballot drop boxes and declined to appear for a surprise public interrogation on less than an hour's notice.
The Court has already ruled that the Board does not have unlimited authority over elections, yet it continues attempting to exercise powers Arizona law assigns to the Recorder. Voters deserve lawful election administration, not political stunts and last-minute public ambushes.

"Doctors versus Influencers"
I spend a lot of time in both traditional academia and social media, and over the years, I’ve noticed a pattern:
The academics, whether physicians or scientists, who spend the most time complaining about "influencers" online are often the very people transparently trying to become influencers themselves… just unsuccessfully.
Because the reality is, “influencer” is basically what every doctor and scientist ultimately aspires to be.
The entire job is influencing: influencing minds, influencing patients, influencing research, influencing public discourse.
That’s the whole game. Nobody wants to be a tree falling in the forest with nobody around to hear them.
This is why I find it almost comical when “influencer” gets deployed as a slur.
It feels like some exaggerated version of: “Don’t hate the player. Hate the game.”
Or like an out-of-shape fan screaming from the sidelines at professional athletes about how to do their job.
My advice?
If you want to influence people, do it well.
Be persuasive. Be compelling. Of course, all while being honest, rigorous, and authentically trying to make a positive impact. Nevertheless, be engaging. It's necessary if you want to change minds.
And if you want to try to leverage your credentials strategically, go for it. That's your earned advantage, as an aspiring influencer, I suppose.
But don’t pretend you’re inherently more deserving of attention and clout simply because somebody once handed you a credential and told you it entitled you to a bigger megaphone.
