@Coleidoscopes Are you just learning that ALL males have had to register for selective service when we turned 18? A nice privilege women didn't have to do it.

When people get in their 50s and 60s and up, do you start thinking about how many years you have left? I’m curious

@suchnerve OK, I'm no Astrophysics expert, but if an object were just going a little slower , or we aim it towards the sun, it would be pulled in by the sun's gravity and eventually be pulled in. It's not a direct path, could take thousands of years, but wouldn't it eventually get there ?

“Why can’t we just launch our waste into the Sun?” Can’t fall into the Sun from Earth unless you first accelerate backward hard enough to cancel out the momentum you had from Earth’s orbit around the Sun, which btw is 66,615.96 miles per hour or 107,208 kilometers per hour

So if Trump pulls out of NATO does that mean that the rest of the NATO members can refuse to have American airbases in their country or allow American jets to use their airbases??? I think that might leave America pretty vulnerable!

Are timeouts actually effective? My 5yo has been acting up a lot lately and timeouts don’t really seem to deter him.

Coming home tonight with my wife, and for some reason the Tesla on FSD wouldn't use the HOV lane, so I took over and moved into the lane. She's all "whoa!!!". Apparently FSD is a way smoother driver then I am. Lol

Since Trump took office, over 352,000 Federal employees have been fired, resigned, or retired and were not replaced. The Federal workforce is smaller today than at any point since 1966.

This should go without saying, but every American Catholic needs to get it into their head that their loyalty is to the Catholic Church over Donald Trump. There can be no ambiguity on this.

Are you under the impression that they put that money in cans and bury in the back yard? Or stuff it under the mattress ? Cause that's not how it works. First off it's not in cash in any sense, it's the value of stocks for the most part. And the money is being put to use, creating jobs, inventing new technology, building things that you need to survive.

The US has 989 billionaires with a net worth of at least 5.7 trillion dollars hording our resources. If we distributed that $$$ equitably, regular Americans could leave their jobs and explore lives of creativity and self-growth, with food, clothing, and shelter provided for free.
