PUTTING TOGETHER A LONG RANGE KIT If you’ve been shooting an AR for years, even something custom you put together, making the jump into precision bolt guns can be jarring. Heading down this road can be as simple as picking up a factory rifle and heading to your first match, but I think you’ll find if you want to pursue this seriously, with training and rapid skill advancement in mind, there are some gear and concepts specific to this type of shooting you’ll want to consider.

I know @grayzoneintel has mentioned this a few times lately, but the paid version of claude is pretty overpowered when it comes to area research. I've had mine writing me a Monday brief, and it checks for local, county, and state level news, important events, protests, etc.

@Ami_Marisol Yes. They have up and down flow of power through their orgs and elected officials, moving from org to org as needed, which keeps grassroots engagement high and builds the overall patronage system. Meanwhile, the right hopes to get somebody elected and see what happens.

I’ve written before about how the left uses their ecosystem to move both policy and political goals. They build large coalitions around being “progressive” and will leverage resources to support coalition members in order to help them in legal or advocacy goals - even orgs working on unconnected issues. On the right, issue based organizations often work together only to the extent their issues directly connect. To fight back on issues that connect us on a deeper level, we need to figure out ways to connect indirectly as well, and build/strengthen that connectivity to leverage resources more effectively and efficiently to reach common goals.
Gun Owners of America@GunOwners

Even though Biden’s pistol brace rule was vacated, ATF is still enforcing the same legal theory.   DOJ’s response was not on our bingo card.   Basically, they're telling gun owners: “Yep, we’re still going after your braces. Nothing you can do about it.”

@ArmedJ0y Trying to find a group of guys in my area who are interested in stuff as simple as Stop the Bleed, getting an FCC Technician's license, and attending a pistol class is like pulling teeth. People won't even help themselves let alone get involved with local politics.

I have a full time job that only exists because it requires constant begging and tree shaking to get 15 of you motherfuckers to take 2 minutes, call a phone number, and leave a voicemail. You're not ready for a civil war. You're begging for a full remodel of your house when you can't be asked to pick your clothes off the floor. You want the hard thing now but can't keep up easy, bare fuckin minimums. Everyone in the replies getting lippy are turbo larpers and less than useless, they distract and reduce from proven strategies so they can be edgy online. Shut up, go away.

Been getting a surprising number of QRTs, comments, and DMs from people advocating for civil war and violence in response to gun control proposals. Stop that talk now. Do you actually know what comes with civil wars? You run out of water because the taps don't work and the water is contaminated anyway. Your grandmother gets picked off by a 14 year old trying to prove himself. You hear about a nearby neighborhood getting torched and everyone getting put in a mass grave. Foreign mercenaries and governments aiding your enemies and leaving you to starve. It's not just you and your buddies running ambushes and raids. It's dirty. It's vulgar. It's animalistic. It's total war. The sides won't be clear cut, either. Think about how divided the right already is. If you can't even build coalitions to fight gun control laws how are you going to build a coalition to fight your enemies? We're more likely to see massive infighting within the right than we are to see everyone unite. Then the left will do the same. And then everyone will be fighting everyone else. Civil wars are rarely two-sided conflicts. They are quagmires of disparate groups killing each other and their enemies relentlessly. You should look to Syria if you want to see what a civil war in the US would look like. 13 years and over 500,000 dead, over half were civilians. I understand the anger and frustration but violence is an absolute last resort and shouldn't be talked about lightly I have been proposing we do what the left does to push their agendas like coalition building, protesting, and being a legal nuisance and instead I have been getting edgy edgelords and justifiably upset people calling for violence. Stop it. It's playing with fire and once the djinn leaves the bottle, it doesn't go back in.

@codym1917 Again, I'll point out that this claim is unfalsifiable to the general public. And because of our political tensions, if something were to happen, people will be more primed to scream "false flag" as a result of this being aired in public.

He's making a fundamental mistake. He forgets that the market is manipulated and that the US gov will do anything and everything it possibly can to maintain the status quo. Gold going up risks the status quo. Oil going up risks the status quo. Any time the market is red it risks the status quo. Why else are we suspending an act that exists to protect US trade on a geostrategic level (Jones Act)? Maintaining that status quo. We're trading our economic future and well being in favor for short term political wins. It's why our country is where it is. We've done this for generations and we're rapidly running out of road to kick the can down.

@HomericFuturist @WMcluskey @GBNT1952 Rubio's claim still feels distinct to me, because it implies Israel forced our hand by triggering an imminent threat. Joe asserted in his letter that such a threat doesn't exist, which would make our commitment to the war a voluntary one.

If you still think this isn’t an op, I don’t know what to tell you. These people have consistently used Charlie’s death to achieve their own goals and undermine not only Trump, but also American interests. Absolutely disgusting. What a piece of garbage Joe, Tucker, and the lot of them are… Im so tired of these anti-American grifters.

@DonShift3 Listen, I'm promoting myself to Colonel on day one and changing my last name to Sanders so people will have to fight the Col. Sanders Militia. Adding a bit of levity to serious situations is good for morale.

I bet civil war in Rhodesia seemed like a great idea when you were one of the "boys" running around the hills shooting the white man. But if you were one of the poor blacks who realized that your daughters were gonna be r-ped by the "freedom fighters," that they would extort and blackmail (then probably torture/kill you anyway) over some assumed crime, when you were stuck between the Security Forces and the terrorists, when you were forced into a concentration camp (where you didn't even get to each lunch), then when the Black Guy won found yourself on the wrong Black Team and faced literal genocide, civil war wasn't really that fun after all.

@ngprecision I learned of it upon the birth of our first child. When the other kids at school tell him the leprechaun does not visit their house, he just tells them they must suck. 🤣

@braxton_mccoy @BerzekSavant I did use the word "imploding" to be fair to @BerzekSavant. You and I have discussed privately that I think we're a long way from that sort of thing, but I think it's not helpful when these things get aired in public given that nobody on either side can legally present evidence.
