Ghosted by another alleged buyer this week, had one last week on the Tourneo and now one on the Jag🫤 A chap messaged me on Friday and offered me a figure for my Jag X-Type I was happy with but was a little lower than I would like ideally. I was up front and honest with him and said I had others showing interest at more money and could't give him answer there and then. His response was "I totally understand - however if you do decide its enough, let me know and I'll come pick it up Monday/Tuesday. I only live an hour away from you" We then exchanged a few messages over the weekend about the Jag and he seemed genuine. Other prosepective buyers were put off by the high tax band, something the other chap really wasn't fussed by.....allegedly. By this point I'd lined up two perspective replacements, sticking to what I know with big old Luxo Barges; 2004 W220 Mercedes-Benz S320L CDI, Silver with Grey Leather, fairly nice spec, low owners and high-ish miles. 2007 W221 Mercedes-Benz S320L CDI, Dark Blue with Tan Leather, quite high miles but very good service history and a good spec. Made the decision to just take the guys money and get back into something I know and love, enquired about both cars and sent the perspective Jag buyer a message saying it was his if he wanted it at the agreed price. No response within a few hours, thought fair enough as it was the weekend. Still no response by Monday afternoon but he'd read my message and seemingly ignored me 🙃 Sent him another message today, just ask if he was still interested and it looks as if it hasn't delivered at all 😑 Why are people like this? 🤷‍♂️

@London_W4 Yes I saw the same thing on Sunday morning he went straight through a red light fully covered face all in black (clothing) and was looking for phones the irony is he was heading for Belgravia police station 🤷‍♂️ if it’s still in use ? No police, firefighters public services GOING

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE OUT IN PUBLIC IN CENTRAL LONDON! Was stood waiting to cross the road at corner Marble Arch and Oxford Street just now and turned to see bloke on very fast electric bike heading up behind me. I turned and he turned away. I stood and watched as it was obvious what was going to happen next and sure enough, he snatched the phone of a young woman stood at the bus stop. Then off down Oxford Street for more. Face fully covered. If we had a police force in London this could easily be stopped, but instead, dozens of people a day have their lives made shit by these vermin. I’m in a shop writing this. Put your phone away on the streets. Take care. Be safe.

When people come out of five star hotels and have a phone in their hand, take a glance at the Taxi rank and can never look the driver in the face ! Up to £1000 a night and they get a driver looking at a satnav
