@andrewvalentine Dragging entries onto the entry list should actually work if I’m not mistaken but this might be a regression from the last refactoring to newer drag and drop APIs.

@andrewvalentine Yes. You can drag them from one database to the other. Everything gets copied except custom icons since moving them across databases is not implemented right now.

@yeeich To be fair, I would guess the @1Password implementation works a bit better in edge cases. But thanks for mentioning Global Autotype!

@renefouquet To be fair, MacPass has a lot of options too. I tried to do a @marcoarment at first (read: no settings) but that went the opposite way. @StrongboxSafe has a beta for a new Ui that you might want to check out too.

A huge “Thank you!” to all loyal MacPass users. The long wait for 0.8 is over. This version fixes all the nasty UI bugs under macOS 11 and 12. Additional features are: KDBX4.1 support, XML v2 support for key files, native Apple Silicon binary and TOTP support and more…

@arnemoor There are a couple of features that are heavily driven by contributors e.g. the upcoming support for touch-Id or the plugins. Localizations are another huge area where contributions are absolutely vital. But most of the core stuff is doable for a single developer.

@MacPassApp I found the list also impressive. Especially since not that many contributors exist.

Aaand it’s broken – 0.8 will crash on save when a database uses the ChaCha chiper. Please grab 0.8.1 to fix this issue. Do not ask how high my heart rate went up, after I did encounter that crash!

Lost in space… no access to usernames and passwords. Waiting for @MacPassApp to make the software work under macOS 12.1 Monterey.

@John_Denyer 0.8 is out. This should fix all known issues under macOS 11 an 12

@EvertZwam I‘m getting there. In the meantime use the continuous build on GitHub which works in Monterey.
