@Bossman9633 @jtriley2p For Map, we've @MapmyIndia which is getting better. Just UI needs polish. Thunderbird is available for Android? Actually didn't use anything else apart from Gmail ever since created account.

android spyware is largely embedded in the google play services sensors, contacts, app info, hardware info, etcetc it collects these with elevated privileges in stock android, it cannot be disabled and telemetry cannot be disabled no matter what you do graphene ships without play services. if you're down for the friction you can direct install some apk's (signal does this), use f-droid for foss apps, and use progressive web apps (pwa's) to fill the gaps if you want play store apps, you can sandbox the play store; giving it the same authority as any other app w tight controls over what it can access and when. apps installed thru sandboxed play store must request permission up the chain: app -> play store -> graphene -> you data flow starts and stops with you. play wants your location? seethe. play wants your hardware ids? mald. play wants your contacts? pound sand. is the pixel-only constraint problematic? is immigration reform on stolen land problematic? yea, it is. you get the cards you get. at least in the former case, graphene & motorola are partnering to further open access to an os that still gives a shit about privacy do not let these ppl black pill you, friend you dont have to live on the backfoot with your data on your device

Tried using Mappls, it got a lot of glitches & it's tiring. Just imagine yourself stuck somewhere & using this app to navigate your way home & you are helplessly standing bcz your map isn't loading. Even in locality where there's no metro nearby, it's giving metro direction

@mappls Excellent ap. Only one problem in it is that it is sometimes Non-specific. Instructions are bit delayed. Storing the memory about destination is also needing attention from technical team. Be Bhaarteeya & buy Bhaarteeya only! Bravo MAPPLS !!! 🙏

गूगल मैप बदल गया! आगे से दाएं या बाएं मुड़ने की टेंशन ही खत्म, अब सब एकदम सटीक। गूगल ने Google Maps के लिए अभी तक का सबसे बड़ा अपडेट रिलीज किया है। मैप में अब सब कुछ 3D में नजर आएगा, स्क्रीन पर बिल्डिंग से लेकर बायपास और ट्रैफिक लाइट एकदम अलग नजर आने वाली हैं, और भी कई झंझट खत्म।

@vikaspell Thank you for sharing this feedback. For point 1, we request you to kindly update the app and try again, it should work as expected. Regarding point 2, we will have this checked by our team.

There are so many 1. It doesn’t update and get stuck while us g it via CarPlay . I need to go and open the app again on the phone for CarPlay to work properly. 2. When you have set the destination and midway take an alternative route it keeps displaying to take U turn and go back to the earlier route for a long time. I spray of showing alternative route immediately. There are many more. But that’s for later.
