NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman
The near impossible is becoming possible. We are building toward a sustained human presence at the lunar South Pole. It begins with Phase 1: CLPS landers and LTV rovers testing the “science of survival” on the lunar surface before heavy HLS cargo landers deliver the mass and infrastructure needed for an enduring presence. We are building the Moon Base for all we will learn, the innovation that will improve life on Earth, the inspiration for the next generation of explorers, and to master the skills needed for where we will inevitably go next...Mars. The Golden Age of lunar exploration has begun.

Lunar Outpost
Lunar Outpost@LunarOutpostInc·
Artemis Astronauts, meet your new ride: Pegasus. @NASA has selected Lunar Outpost's Pegasus for a High Achievability Mission task order under its Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services (LTVS) contract, marking the first human-rated mobility on the Moon since Apollo. This award confirms Lunar Outpost’s leading role as the next generation mobility and infrastructure provider to advance permanent lunar operations. The Lunar Outpost Pegasus LTV provides critical surface mobility for Astronauts operating at the Moon’s South Pole, expanding how far and long crews can traverse and operate on the lunar surface. Pegasus is designed to support a range of mission profiles, including site exploration, foundational science operations, resource prospecting, and surface site preparation as NASA lays the groundwork for a permanent human presence on the Moon by 2030. The development of Pegasus was led by Lunar Outpost, in partnership with collaborators @GM, @goodyear, and @LeidosInc. The team combines proven heritage with decades of experience in advanced engineering, automotive industrialization, and human spaceflight. Lunar Permanence is only possible with recurring access to the Moon, and it starts this year. Proud to support @NASAMoonBase at the lunar South Pole with our Blue Moon MK1 vehicles delivering high-cadence, low-cost access—MK1-101 Endurance (Moon Base 1), followed by MK1-102 VIPER, and two additional MK1 missions supporting Lunar Terrain Vehicles (LTVs).

Weird that @NASA PAO called on 2 Russian quasi-official media outlets - first RIA Novosti @rianru and then TASS @tassagency_en - one after the other - both of whom asked the same question about international cooperation. U.S. reporters do not have the same access to @roscosmos Just sayin'
