99.9% of people who "experienced" the Challenger disaster saw it on replay and now remember it as live. Almost NO ONE was watching. Everyone thinks they were. It's a fascinating collective false memory.






I’m not sure exactly how you would draft it, but we need a law that presumes a withdrawal this close to the deadline is illegitimate and the person doing it should face heavy civil or criminal sanctions.


217-214: House narrowly passed the $1.2T government spending package to end the partial shutdown now on Day Four. 21 Democrats voted Yes and 21 Republicans voted No. Senate passed the bill 71-29, which now heads to President Trump who plans to sign it. The bill funds 78% of the federal government including the Defense, Education, HHS, Housing, Labor, State, Transportation & Treasury Depts. through Sept. 30 and the Homeland Security Dept. through Feb. 13.
