@edmundbillings @ContraPoints I do think his "invention" of the iPhone is greatly overblown (not his idea nor invention, really, plus everyone alive then had thought "why don't they put the blackberry in the ipod") but he was definitely the leader who made it happen which deserves credit for sure

I think one of the hardest things to read in Adult Braces is the facile understanding of what fat liberation means, and what HAES and bodily autonomy mean. If someone heals their relationship with food, moves their body joyfully, and just happens to lose weight in that process, that's cool and good, perfectly fine. It's the torurous diet/restriction/yo-yo dieting that fat liberation has railed against, not a kind relationship with one's body!

Burnt Mix CDs. Playlists just aren’t the same. You got a burnt CD from a boy and you knew he spent at least four hours at his computer at it. He had to buy the CDs. He did graphic design. He tried to write legibly. The effort was obvious
