@Daveymooo @DaveWardGS @BBCBreakfast Not true. We did not agree to less terms and conditions for new entrants, it was imposed by Royal Mail (Simon Thompson) the CEO then. It has always been our position to reverse these gig economy terms and conditions, and still is our policy

Since 2022, Royal Mail has imposed worse terms and wages on new employees. This has caused a recruitment crisis which threatens its future. It won’t be resolved by adopting the Amazon model - but by levelling workers up, not down. Me on @BBCBreakfast👇
