@1Sam28 @stinginroger0 @rparmar_BC BC Cons are the old BC Libs, just a few more zealot MLA's ONEBC tacked on. Now they have the correct name. But very similar policy's. The last stretch they were in charge, was a disaster for our Healthcare system, Senior & social housing, & our Forest Industry. Milobar be better?

@SteneLarry @stinginroger0 @rparmar_BC If you're a grandfather, it likely means you're 60+ so you're remembering how our health care USED to be. Yes it used to be one of the best systems. But past performance doesn't guarantee future results. The Liberals wrecked it by bringing in too many people.

Gordon Campbell’s record? Mass firings of health care workers and teachers. Privatizing public services. Deep cuts to mental health care. Austerity for working families. Gordon Campbell’s record is the BC Conservative playbook. #bcpoli

Gordon Campbell knows what it takes to deliver stability, strong government, and economic growth for British Columbians. As a former Premier and three-time majority winner, he helped build a stronger, more confident province. Honoured to have Gordon’s support as we work to unite and defeat the NDP. @1Sam28 @stinginroger0 @rparmar_BC Always a work in progress. The BC Libs under Falcon were closing Hospitals. Senior housing with a boomer gen coming was cut to the bone. Before Covid crushed us & still causing issues. 1% norm pop growth requires 400,000 immigrants yr, or Stagnate. 400 new docs/nurs from US-2026.

@DanAlbas The CPC uses a Junior B approach to Govt, under the present childish leadership team & the pathetic populism-misinfo Strategy. Give them half-truths, keep them angry. Time for the adults with decent resumes, in your Party lead the CPC. It's why the Liberals are crushing you.

So when the federal Liberal Government says no federal funding will be used to build BC Ferries in China and it turns out the fed. Liberal govt. is actually fully financing BC Ferries made in China is that "not responsible" according to the Minister? Or is that "different"?

@DanAlbas Dan? The local shipyards were full. Major orders for Ice-Breakers. To the extent no local shop even submitted a bid. Would have taken a huge influx of taxpayer's $ to increase capacity for orders, that will eventually level off. Saved $1B. You know this & still push the nonsense?

@KathrynMathias1 After bombing civilians. Doubt there's little room between the Iran folks & the IRGC. A little history. We (UK, USA, CIA) tried to steal their Oil-Still are. Backed a coup & installed a pliable Shah 1941-79, until they had had enuf & chaos. & They? Are the terrorists ever since?

A perfect example of how the CPC and the current govt under the LPC, differ. Don't let anyone claim they are the same. Our current govt gets that there's a difference between the IRGC (which they've repeatedly called out) and the Iranian civilians who need support. The CPC don't

Iran is a serial violator of human rights. Canada has designated it a State Supporter of Terrorism under the State Immunity Act. But last Wednesday, the Liberal gov’t supported Iran’s membership to a UN committee which oversees human rights. I asked the gov’t, why? #cdnpoli

@bsilly3 @BradWestPoCo Agree & no easy answer here. But if moving the Chlorine Plant, manufactured or stored, to any other Community, requires serious logistics. The gas is Deadly & does not disperse well. It sinks & waits for victims.

I often hear municipal colleagues decry the lack of seriousness with which they’re treated by provincial & federal governments - and then they make decisions like this. Chemtrade produces the vast majority of the chlorine used for water purification in western Canada & was subject of a disinformation campaign by an American rival. If our country ever wants to stand on its own two feet, we must have places for critical industries to operate. I would welcome Chemtrade, and the hundreds of family-supporting jobs they produce, to Port Coquitlam.

A few months ago, most observers believed the U.S. held a massive upper hand in trade talks with Canada, with stalled negotiations, Trump’s tariffs, and heavy Canadian export dependence making Ottawa look vulnerable ahead of the 2026 USMCA review. That has COMPLETELY changed under Prime Minister Mark Carney, who has assembled a top-tier negotiating team led by veteran diplomat Janice Charette and quickly delivered diversification wins, new trade pacts, and, as we all know by now, a very strong majority government. Canada’s ultra deep leverage in energy (70% of U.S. crude imports), critical minerals, and U.S. market access—once underestimated—is now extremely amplified by credible alternatives and cold, patient strategy, leaving the Americans in a VERY precarious spot: higher inflation risks, supply disruptions in key sectors, and diplomatic isolation as Canada builds alliances elsewhere. #cdnpoli #USMCA #Tariffs

Did you know that when Mark Carney’s signature first appeared on Canada’s $20 bill in 2008, that $20 had the buying power of $20. Today, that same buying power would require about $29.70. Put another way, today’s $20 bill only buys what about $13.48 bought in 2008. That is how much value Canadians have lost in the dollar since Carney first signed that note. The bill may still say $20, but its real value has been hollowed out. Source bankofcanada.ca/rates/related/…

No matter how one splits it, Ontario & Quebec provide the Lion's share. End of the day, those taxes are paid by all Canadians.

What was meant to be a show of force has spiraled into a full-blown agricultural disaster. T.r.u.m.p’s latest potash tariffs were designed to pressure Canada, but instead they detonated inside America’s own farming heartland. In an emergency meeting at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a senior Trump adviser reportedly admitted the unthinkable: the policy had backfired so badly that American farmers may not survive the growing season. Canada wasted no time. As the world’s largest potash supplier, Ottawa redirected exports to Asia and Europe within days, locking in billion-dollar contracts and tightening its grip on the global fertilizer market. One Canadian official mocked the situation bluntly, saying that if the U.S. doesn’t want Canadian potash, the rest of the world gladly will. On the ground in Iowa, the consequences turned personal. A U.S. farmer broke down during a live interview, explaining that without Canadian potash, crops simply cannot be grown at scale. The result is stark: Canada posts record profits and cements its status as the undisputed “fertilizer king,” while the United States loses control of a critical supply chain at the worst possible moment of the planting season. Analysts are already calling this the worst trade failure of Trump’s year — a pressure tactic that ended up crushing the very people it claimed to defend.
