BREAKING: The U.S. government will now insure losses up to $40 billion for oil tankers transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
But they can’t insure you if you get cancer or have a heart attack.
Big oil is more important than your life in Trump’s America. Did you vote for that?
Based on the numbers now coming out of China, Trump and the US should consider slow roll opening the strait.
There are entire manufacturing sectors in China now struggling which are oil heavy dependent. They have their input costs rising upto 40% since the war began, with already thin margins before due to deflation, low demand domestically and export barriers internationally.
While they are doing well in battery/solar/EV's, their oil dependent manufacturing is facing existential an crisis, a month or two and alot of their small to midsize firms will collapse from this pressure. Which is where alot of the value chain is. Especially since this isn't happening on the US side.
