blizzard customer service just hit a new low.. 1) coffeeboy on reddit saw a sale running for a boost on the battlenet launcher, he bought it, but the sale was already over 2) coffeeboy tickets blizzard to complain 3) blizzard sends him one of the most unhinged responses in recent memory players have complained recently about "ai responses" and missing the days when you could talk to an actual human.. is this the new way to make their AI responses seem more human? what's going on here

@Uncatfishable We don't give 2 shits what people eat Our only point is that if someone (a) doesn't make much, and is (b) basically broke, and (c) they are complaining about what people paid 40 years ago, that maybe they should live a little more within their means (or at least not complain)

Do people realize that peanut butter and jelly and chips is what they give kids at school who can’t afford school lunch? That’s what they give prisoners in holding cells if you get to jail after food time. And you want working adults to eat that everyday willingly.
Ben Klayer@the_satellite23

Loaf of bread = $5 Peanut butter = $4 Jelly = $4 18 pack of chips = $12 Bag of apples = $5 Total = $30 And you'll have lunch for an entire week or two. $2-4 average per day. Inflation isn't the problem. Your spending habits are.

@BuckSexton Healthcare Housing College (the above two are the largest drivers of inflation) All things the government could fix if it wasn't so inept/corrupt

@ianmSC I get your point, I really do, but for someone that cannot afford to buy a home, don't you think it is stupid to be splurging on luxuries? Not to mention the value of investing money. The $400/month could literally be their main retirement fund.

@revenant_MMXX Do they not have Walmart, Sam's or Costco where you live? The vast majority of the country lives within 20 minutes of one of these

Everyone from some dead end part of the country has an opinion about food prices when all the places a young person could get a decent job are double or triple this. What alternate reality are you in where chicken breast is $3/lb?
James Douglas@JamesDo88039200

@revenant_MMXX No feed them real food you cook for them. Every week has $2 or under protein, rice is cheap so are beans, so are veggies. Make real fucking food do expect us tax payers to give you Chipotle on food stamps.

@Jasmine_Keith So your sandwich with better meat costs $4 instead of $2.50, BFD What does this have to do with the overall point of people complaining about being broke when they order out / go out for lunch every day? Did you think this through lol?

@chamath The bottom 30% are net getting money, lots of it The next 20% are actually paying in a meaningful amount (for them), as Jeff said

@samb40 @GeeScottSr Food hasn't gone up anywhere near 280% That is like saying I ate a McDonalds yesterday for $10 and ate a steak restaurant the next day for $100 and then complaining that food prices went up 10x

I’ve had to do this because that’s all I had. Umm, that was survival. Now do rent, childcare, and insulin. How bout the car repair you can’t skip because you need it to get to the job that still pays you the same as they did 7 years ago. But hey, your fix for inflation is PB&J 🤯

"Don't spend $28 on lunch! Don't buy a $5 soda!" "So me buying a soda is why I can't afford a home, or to live?" No, moron. Your insistence on spending that kind of money is illustrative of a few things: 1. You're financially ignorant, at best. 2. That's a habit that stands as an exemplar of similar spending habits in your daily life. 3. It's emblematic of your priorities and self-discipline. You argue in bad faith to avoid further self-examination.

Apparently many people so stupid that they don't understand that eating out in most cases is a luxury, and that getting many things delivered (other than a pizza) is very much a luxury??

VERY true A good homemade stew or chili is ,healthy very reasonably priced, and easy to make. Lots of people just flat refuse to eat the same thing a couple days in a row though...
Synthetic Anima@SyntheticAnima

While this is being dunked on, the actual trvthnuke is instead of wasting away on PB&J or eating plain chicken and rice every meal, is to retvrn to stews and soups. You get the maximum amount of nutrition, easy to cook, and you get more mileage out of your ingredients.

Buyer beware This stuff seems to good to be true. How does this stuff stay fresh in a non vacuum sealed bag for so long? Ate it a couple times and had to toss it. Had well within the best by dates but my stomach wasn’t having it. Probably a massive histamine release but that’s just me

I'm cackling at the "make your own $2 sandwich to save money for a house down payment" discourse on the timeline Some wonder bread, a few slices of lunch meat, chips The problem with this is that an Adult Male who lifts considers 1lb of ground beef a snack and would wither away

@GuyTalksFinance All the tards on here saying 'xyz don't want to eat the same thing' when that WASNT THE POINt He could have sub'd in other options for variety and price wouldn't change meaningfully The point is you can easily eat and eat better than 97% of the world for not that much $
