Cats sulk. We had a stray tomcat we took on. For a bit, he was the only pet, and regally allowed us that privilege. Later, he got a bit miffed when we got puppies to add to the menagerie. He decided to let that indignity go. Then we rudely got a feral half-domesticated kitten. He sulked for days and days. I never knew a cat face could express disgust and smoldering rage. A good cat, he finally accepted the kitty, but it was touch and go. Treats (maybe chicken nuggets) may help.

I messed up so badly!!!! I was worried about Bruiser with the 4th of July coming up and all the fireworks so I put a collar on him. It has a dangly name tag on it and an AirTag. Well, he moved and it jingled and now he is terrified of me. I can’t get it off of him either. He won’t come near me. He’s hiding under the couch and slinking around frightened. What did I do????? 😭😭😭😭😭😭
