saying "vanishing small" is just made up - i'm speaking from experience with thousands of customers that pay us touch anything even slightly enterprise and you'll see all these wonky setups it's not rational - they have some official software center and then they also have npm which they use to work around it, that's the most common setup we've been publishing go binaries to npm for years for that reason pyinstaller helps but is less developed than what we have with bun. we need to use native libraries like treesitter and libgit2 and having native solutions for ffi, embedding static libs, musl builds, etc is helpful again i'm sure it's all technically possible with enough effort but my larger point here is there's and endless list of needs you haven't considered people making different decisions than you aren't likely doing it out of ignorance
