OpenAI: gpt 5.5 is out, May 5 it gets a party. Possible gpt 5.5 codex (or atleast a limit reset).
Anthropic: code w/ claude (last year we got claude code and claude 4) maybe a Sonnet follow-up Sonnet 4.8 unless they decide to reset the branding with Sonnet 5. I bet news of a bigger model opus or larger if not release.
Google: I/O on May 19–20 last march we got 2.5 pro so maybe 3.5 pro with news of flash?

@olsenbdnr Can’t wait to try the new system. One thing I’m curious about: will it estimate projected reach by budget? Meta gives you something closer to that, but the old X Ads flow mostly showed audience size, not actual budget-based reach. That would be a huge improvement.

@JoshBobrowsky One notable skeleton in old Twitter stack: They had a multi-AZ publisher/subscriber pattern syncing system that had a QPS of less than 1… replaced it with a single python script. Some dude just needed a large project for a promotion lmao
