Hey Matt, I know the airport experience is far from perfect, and Democrats just made it worse by not funding TSA, triggering crazy long security lines. But over at @USDOT, we’re currently working our hearts out to give the country a brand new air traffic control system that will improve safety and on-time departures/arrivals with new radars, electronic flight strips, digital radios, and a fiber optic telecommunications network to replace the dated copper wire system we presently use. And that's just the work being done right now! In a few weeks I’m inviting the media over to DOT HQ to meet my team of experts and show you all we are doing to overhaul America’s ATC & usher in a golden age of travel. I think you will be impressed, and I’m personally inviting you to join us. Hope you can join us, Matt.
Matt Walsh@MattWalshBlog

Flight delayed on tarmac. Missed our connection. Based on the other flights available, which were also delayed, and the fact that taking a flight tomorrow would require getting back into a security line stretching seemingly for miles, we decided to get a car and drive five hours to our destination. That’s how bad air travel is right now. Driving is faster. Air travel is awful in this country. People don’t realize just how much it sucks unless they have to do it a lot. It’s not just TSA. Flight delays. Air traffic control issues. Service is even worse than usual. Every airport is crowded and slow and worn down and dirty. Everyone brings their dogs. The term “service animal” doesn’t mean anything anymore. Air travel used to be luxurious. People used to wear suits. Working for an airline was prestigious. The employees took it seriously. It sucks now. It’s terrible. This is the kind of thing our leaders should be fixing. Because the most frustrating thing is that it is so eminently fixable. If only anyone bothered to try.

@susancrabtree @SecretService Am I being overconfident? Because I have never once thought of this as a possibility. My finger is always resting on the frame when holstering my handgun. Never understood how this happens, whether under stress or not.

UPDATE: Additional new details about the junior @SecretService agent who shot himself last Friday morning during a movement at the Philly airport with Jill Biden: The agent left his phone behind in the SUV while escorting Jill Biden into the airport. He rushed back to get his cell phone and was using his Glock's flashlight to try to find it in the trunk of the SUV. When he tried to holster his gun, he shot himself -- yes, right in the butt cheek. I'm told agent training stresses that the light on the Glock should only be used while shooting.

🚨SECRET SERVICE SCOOP: New details about the agent who shot himself earlier today while accompanying Jill Biden to the Philly airport. The agent was apparently rushing and fumbling around after forgetting his cell phone in the SUV, sources told @RCPolitics. The agent was only one week on the job with the Jill Biden detail. He was in the SUV behind the one Biden was traveling in. He left to accompany Jill Biden through the airport, but soon realized he forgot his cell phone. The agent rushed back to get it, and his pistol fell out of the holster and was lying on the seat. He grabbed his pistol quickly and negligently fired it as he was trying to put it back in the holster. The agent shot his butt cheek. He went to the hospital where he is recovering and is expected to be released later today.

@DBZYuYuYasha @redsteeze ICE got extra funding from the BBB last year. They can operate through all of this yr. The impasse is for the normal DHS funding. If they "fund everything but ICE" it won't stop them. It's like of you lost your paycheck but got your yearly bonus. You'd have money to function

@redsteeze This doesn't make any sense. If ICE is already funded, why are Republicans holding up the standalone bills to fund everything BUT ICE and CBP? The truth is, you all want ADDITIONAL funding for both, and you're having a temper tantrum about Dems saying "no."

ICE is already funded. They know this. This is all performative where this guy and his party admitted that their goal is "to hurt people" over it. "Were shutting down DHS and clogging airports" "Why?" "Because ICE is deporting people" This is basically the entire Democratic Party on whole all sitting and blocking a freeway.
Chris Murphy 🟧@ChrisMurphyCT

This is the only thing you need to know. Democrats want to open TSA. Republicans are refusing because they want to attach ICE funding. That’s why there are long lines. ICE.

CALIFORNIA ELECTIONS FRAUD CASH FOR BALLOTS PART I: Homeless Bribed with Cash & Drugs In Exchange For Registering To Vote & Signing Election Petitions Caught On Tape Undercover On Skid Row In California. “You can just put Pinocchio Lane.” California NGOs Encourage Fake Addresses To Homeless People To Sign Petitions & Register Voters, A State & Federal Felony. Footage Shows 28 Instances Of Cash Changing Hands For Ballot Signatures & Voter Registration Forms. Many of the petitioners had no understanding of the petitions’ purpose they were advertising. Circulators also instructed individuals to use fake addresses. “Oh, you can just fake an address.” Weingart Center, which received hundreds of millions in public funding, is on tape directing people to where the fraudulent petitioners are located, and directing homeless individuals to petitioners & coaching plausible deniability. “See they say ignorance is no excuse for the law. But a lot of times, I have to say ‘I didn’t know, I had no idea.’” We encountered 28 instances of petitioners offering cash, cigarettes, and marijuana for signatures on petitions. Weingart employees advised: “See they say ignorance is no excuse for the law. But a lot of times, I have to say ‘I didn’t know, I had no idea.’” All happening outside taxpayer-funded housing organizations. Weingart CEO earned $432,000 before resigning from the Los Angeles County Affordable Housing Solutions Agency. James O’Keefe and the OMG Team went undercover on Skid Row, posing as homeless individuals. On hidden cameras, petitioners admitted they are paid $7–$10 per signature, sometimes earning $1,000 or more per day, collecting signatures from individuals with minimal knowledge of what they were signing. “$7 a signature, $5 a signature, $10 a signature.” “We gon’ give you $2.” Populus Inc., a political consulting firm, was circulating petitions funded by @Uber, @Delta, @United, and the American Hotel & Lodging Association (@AHLA). On camera, one petitioner said, “We have one that taxes billionaires 5%. One-time tax. 5% and that’s gonna go towards healthcare.” Other petitions sought to overturn LA’s $30 minimum wage for hotel and airline workers. Paying per signature and encouraging fake addresses violates federal and state election law and is proof of fraud happening in California. Weingart employees were caught directing the homeless to the location of the petitioners and coaching them on plausible deniability. Intake coordinator Jason Warren told an undercover journalist exactly where and when to find them: “Most time they be right across the street, under that tree… Monday through Friday.” In 2016, nine individuals were arrested on Skid Row for exchanging cash and cigarettes for signatures; in 2019 they were charged on 14 counts under the exact same California Elections Code section. Yet when confronted, nearby LAPD officers dismissed the activity as “a civil lawsuit.” “Paying per signature violates state election law and is evidence of election fraud in California,” the investigation concludes. On Skid Row, we captured conduct on tape that violates Federal Law 52 U.S. Code §10307 and state law California Election Code §18603. The @CivilRights has gone to court to oppose such restrictions. I personally argued for the US to challenge Illinois’ so-called “assault weapons” ban, which bans popular & constitutionally protected semi-auto rifles & more. As @AGPamBondi says, 2A isn’t a second-class right!
Jonathan Turley@JonathanTurley

Across the country, Democrats are moving to ban some semiautomatic rifles as well as large magazines. The most extreme legislation may be in Minnesota, which could not only ban sales but also require current owners to agree to home inspections. jonathanturley.org/2026/03/11/min…

Crime is not random Only 0.2% of people ever commit murder, yet **67% of all murders**are committed by people with prior arrests When the crime-inclined people are stopped, the crime stops. You can literally just fix crime by not tolerating people who show a history of being destructive to society. El Salvador is a great example of this
