Think about it. When an influencer mentions a coin just once, they probably genuinely think it goes up. Perhaps they try to help others or just claim clout. But once = a tip. When an influencer mentions a coin multiple times, it's not help, it's not clout, it's = exit liquidity

Whilst everyone pines for their failure, for co-opting bitcoin, I still wonder if it can be the beginning of the making of. If we are back in 6 figures later this year for example, people might give up hoping for their demise and we might witness several new copy cats loading up. What if in 5 years we have 50 Saylor types, 100s of companies, dozens of countries etc all trying to emulate what becomes a long term success, and then - and only then - the general public see the long term trend, and start getting FOMO for keeps this time. Probably just a wild dream.. but i think it's similarly unlikely that we're above 60k still after exhausting all bullish prospects of the last 15 years, and here we are

Just thinking out loud, as a holder of Bitcoin. It has always been a chameleon to some extent, and because it is young, like a child it can try many identities.

Bitcoin was built for exactly this moment. Financial chaos, institutional distrust, a broken system looking for an exit. That was the whole point. Instead it got co-opted by Saylor, the Trump family, and every other grifter who saw a flag to plant. Now it's carrying too many identities to stand for any one thing.

@ALBACapMgmt Running a country (well) should pay pretty nicely I think. But the emphasis on "well". I think if there were a list of targets to meet across the sectors, that if met, resulted in a hansom balloon payment at the end of term, it would see priorities shift.

I would argue that no matter what the U.S. does, China is not in a position to usurp them as reigning hegemon in any lasting sense because they're tumbling down a demographic abyss that cannot be reversed and they're not likely to open the flood gates to immigration.

Hate to say it, but algo was better in 2022. There's something missing. I come here with intention and purpose, and the algo does everything to circumvent that with reaction-bait that I am disposed to engage with, but have no desire to seek. Result: engagement metrics go up, utility of app fgoes down. My time spent curating a follow list is wasted. I don't want to curate further lists and click through different lists to find exactly what I'm looking for. The timeline is supposed to be that already.
