I've never listened to a podcast for more than 3 or 4 minutes. I don't have the patience to listen to people ramble on while I wait for them to talk about something I might be interested in. I'm not sure there's ever been a less efficient way to transmit information.

Everyone the media doesn't like that says supposedly extreme things such as "we like our country" and isn't pro infinite immigration is 'far right' but the far left terrorist sympathizers who want authoritarian socialism get cute names like "the squad." And this happens globally

"AI is trained on your data"... this is not the real risk. It's a red herring, manufactured as The Concern because who cares that much.
The real risk to you is not that tomorrow's model is trained on your data.
The real risk is that ten thousand employees, hackers, and governments can access all your most personal and proprietary conversations today and forever.
Privacy must be the default or humanity is seriously fucked.

@sbyrnes I think it would be consistent to qualify them as "far left" since they say "far right" to so many things every day ...my ongoing problem is there's no limiting principle (very few in the media say when the left is too extreme - it's well documented many have pointed this out)

@bgurley Can always have several email addresses (ie, 1 just for friends and close contacts, one for work, one for subscriptions). I have a few accounts and some are much cleaner bc very few people know about them. Works well for me

I fear that AI has decimated the traditional email inbox as we know it. Too many personalized emails slip through spam filter. Hope someone builds a better mousetrap. This one is cooked in its current form.

This is just so strange to me. There's no life science pub that's openly hostile to people who work in that industry. Same w/QSR or any other sector. I guess admission is it's just a political rag now (which isn't all that interesting or special, even if it gets views). TBPN moon
