Barq’s still has its sarsaparilla bite - even though Coke removed the caffeine content! Pepsi could capitalize on the Mug root beer meme with young people. American Born Canadian A&W’s vanilla status is in question and still retains its soft power abroad. I love these brands.

To be fair they avoided defining what “city-owned grocery store” meant during the campaign so I think many were sort of expecting the private contractors route. Will be interesting to see if they can beat the margins and shrinkage problems that have befallen other attempts.
