I voted to extend TPS for Haitians because I cannot, in good conscience, send people who were lawfully granted protection here, followed our laws, and built lives under our rules back to rape, murder, and chaos in a lawless Haiti. This is completely separate from amnesty or illegal immigration. Conflating the two is dangerous.

Even President Trump knows that @CatoInstitute puts out the most rigorous and intellectually honest immigration research. Thank you for the citation, Mr. President. However, the disaster at the border was not from *legal* immigrants. That was a good solution to the disaster.

It was created by free minds operating in what remains of a free market. Every comfort you enjoy today is the product of a man who thought, invented, produced, and traded voluntarily.
