@lutyrannus @ZugzwangMH It costs money to send them off on their own. The Toys for Bob deal worked because the studio head negotiated w xbox to buy itself out and set up a publishing deal for spyro, not all studio heads are able to do that, especially with sizable studios like Arkane for example

@ZugzwangMH I guess I'm thinking of it mostly from a PR perspective. It hurts much more being the ones responsible for killing a respectable studio but if you're the ones who gave them independence or something it would be much more appealing PR wise, but I guess I see your point.

@artificial0wl @CountSmakula imo games like this are really good at their end since they become extremely content filled SP or co op games at this point. ofc there are live service aspects like grind and mtx still there but theres TOO much to do and you wont feel left behind at all with no FOMO

@CountSmakula @yipyapsilon i don't think so. if you never bought any of it then you aren't really losing much. a lot of people love the vaulted raids and it's a bummer they got removed but the raids currently in the game are still plenty fun
