In Michigan, there's a huge group of bipartisan reps ready to deregulate the housing market, make it cheaper to build, and fix the cost of housing in the state. And then there's a group of local lawmakers taking residents taxes and using them to build websites like these lobbying AGAINST more affordable housing. This is what NIMBYISM looks like in real time. These are the bad guys in the housing situation.

“By the way, we're going to wipe out that rate increase when we force the utilities to lower their rates by a billion dollars and freeze the rates for at least two years, we're going to wipe out the three year rate increases.…That's why we need to get rid of the wind and solar mandates, and we need affordable and reliable energy.” - Speaker Hall stated in Press Conference today. Government mandates always hike up costs, AFP is firmly behind the removal of these mandates, and applaud Speaker Hall and Rep. Pauline Wendzel for taking action on this issue.
