It is NOT OKAY that the @PressClubAust showcased this creep today. Those who say it’s reasonable for him to appear on grounds the press is meant to be free to talk to anyone are despicable. It MIGHT be okay for him to be heard if any so-called journos there had pushed back on his lies, but they didn’t. The short video here proves it: no protest from the media AT ALL about the gob-smacking lies just in this one-minute grab of his speech. For these lies to go out unquestioned is a travesty. For this to occur when other voices which aren’t rabidly pro-Israel are ignored and even cancelled from the National Press Club makes it even worse. Yet as always, yelling on the internet or contacting the media outlets involved or the Press Council themselves is USELESS. If you want to do something constructive, the only action which works is to contact the NPC’s advertisers. Tell them how disgraceful these lies are. Tell them this man today denied that a genocide has even taken place, despite the most trustworthy institutions in the world having clearly confirmed the opposite. Tell them to withdraw their funding or you will never pay them a cent ever again. Tell them today. It matters. The NPC should be disbanded, and one of the only ways to do that is to take away the money they use to run it. This is collective consumer power in action and it’s so very, very important right now. Because nothing else will even come close to having the impact of getting to those who fund this hatred and these lies. Write to some of these companies TODAY. Are you in?
