@nugss_ Nmecha….. Albeit not a natural 6 more of a deeplying 8 but can be easily morphed into a 6, his defensive traits make him more suited to the role then Grav and allows Grav to play as an 8 where he plays best

I don't know about y'all, but I'm genuinely concerned that Liverpool still aren't being strongly linked with a proper DM. Gravenberch has done a commendable job, but relying on him as our primary defensive midfielder next season is a big risk. Every great Liverpool side has had balance, control, and protection in midfield. We need a natural defensive midfielder. Without one, we're leaving a glaring weakness in a squad that should be competing for every trophy.

Been saying for months how I’d love the Reds to go for Ismaila Sarr. For me, a great option across the front line and proved again last night that he can score goals and make things happen. And he always scores against us!

@AnfieIdFix Love Jones but he just isn’t good enough. He slows the game down too much he did so under Klopp and Slot, has magic moments now and again but if we could get 40-50 for him then we would be daft to not consider selling.

Extend Jones, bring in one midfielder this summer. Preferably Bouaddi. Give Jones a more prominent role in the double pivot, with Szobo and Nyoni occasionally filling in. Have Bouaddi compete with Grav at 6. Revisit Wharton in 12 months if he's still a profile we feel we need.

@QTalksFtbl Rayan has a £85 million release clause, he is Premier League proven and knows Iraola’s system. I’d love Diomande but he has had one good season in the Bundesliga. If he does the same next season maybe we can warrant the money they want for him now.

I am absolutely fine with Liverpool walking away from Diomande if Leipzig are asking for an unreasonable price.

Gakpo has had one good season which was under Klopp, other than that he is a solid 6/10 for 90% of the games he plays in. The clear drop off from selling Diaz to having to rely on Gakpo has been terrible.

@5292Tido @RousingTheKop His defensive stats are up there though he may not be a traditional 6 but he can be more easily trained into one. There isn’t many high level traditional 6’s on the market. You could gamble on Sangare from Lens maybe. Or swoop in for Tonali

Liverpool signed Florian Wirtz from RB Leipzig, who flopped badly, and now they seem to think one potential flop is not enough, so they want to add another in Yan Diomande. It’s unbelievable. Bundesliga flops over the years include Werner, Havertz, Hincapié, Sancho, and Konaté.
