@KateFantom @cjb_twit Another explanation could be that it was a company car with a company funded fuel card (All Star, Shell, etc). The 3rd party chargers would be 'free' while the superchargers don't accept fuel cards.

@cjb_twit Potentially it's a secondhand purchase and they don't have the app allocated with a card. That means supercharging is disabled until Tesla switch it over from the old owners.

This really is how it should be. This particular Supercharger was heavily used by non-Tesla vehicles. You can see why.

I find it staggering that just by sharing my thoughts and ideas on electrifying my home and family life i've met so many lovely people. It's a complete pleasure to be at a big event where everyone seems to be on the same page. There does need to be urgent solutions and as an individual you can feel you can't personally make a difference but you can. We are all part of the solution and even though just looking at your own home may seem pointless as a collective it matters. If nothing else you've had a go and helping to find an answer. Plus at Fully Charged there's always lots of freebies for the geeks who like branded stuff. 🤣

This is UK crazy electricity regulation… Scotland generates so much electricity we turn off the turbines when it’s windy (instead of Scots getting cheap/free power). Meanwhile they pay highest standing charges because the monopolies have long wires. We really do need huge reform

@tomasmcguinness Have often wondered the same. Maybe there is value in providing advice for some "standard" offerings like "How to automate your lights" or "How to charge your battery according to solar forecast" Seems theres a need for a multiuser management platform- like HA Corporate edition!

I often wondered if there is a business in giving advice to people interested in the DIY smart home or are the target audience the sort that figure it out for themselves?
