Adam Novotny has some serious offensive upside, while having a great B game.
He plays the right way, always looking to attack, uses subtle movements to quickly gain position on an opponent to receive a pass or be first to a rebound.
He accelerates quickly, isn't afraid to throw his body around and has some good NHL projectable traits.

@TheProspectDon Yep, the Tony Feltrin era has been really good year to year. Better than either the Jarmo or Bill Armstrong periods, imo, and gets little love.

Blues are in a great spot with 3 1st round picks and 3 3rd round picks and 12 total.
Their #STLBlues scouting staff has done a fantastic job of identifying value like Justin Carbonneau at 19th and Love Harenstam at pick 179 last year. Adam Jiricek at 16th in 24’, Stenberg at 25 in 23’ and Jimmy Snuggerud at 23 in the 22 draft. Just to name a few. I wanted to make sure I prefaced this with under contract though. You then need to add Koromyslov, Harenstäm, Korotky, Buchelnikov, Kos as the top international options as well.
This pipeline is really built for a lot of difficult decisions moving forward.

@CamboSoop @DarrenDreger He's a 1C on at least 15 teams in the league....53-55 fo%, ppg+ last 2 years but whole team has struggled this yr plus he was dealing with some kind of injury all year that finally got fixed over Olympic break, great pker, gets all the hard assignments...he's absolutely a 1C

Update: It’s believed St Louis/Buffalo went the distance on Thomas trade talks. Sounds like the Sabres aren’t willing to part with the necessary pieces. (Prospects, Player, 1st). Still teams nibbling, but the Blues are firm in what the return needs to be for the young center.
