@whatKEZsays Split them now and then throw them in the trash. I don't like hostas... But for the sake of ground nesting bees nearby maybe wait until mid to late April.
@EricManges not sure why you came to mind but I have these massive hostas I’d love to split. Their tips are JUST starting to pop through the soil. When is the best time to split?
Wolf misconceptions. This is just the first part of a grander story I hope to share about wolves in our state.🐺
Their history, recovery, and future are what I'll go over in the next two parts!

@jjculls Earliest I've ever seen them! Had some lady beetles also enjoying the warm day. There are so many moth species and so many adaptations they have to the cold. I think they'll be able to tough it out!
Milwaukee's temp just dropped a bit in the last hour but not before hitting 49* and tying the record from 1968!!! And look at those 50s in Racine and Kenosha so far! Get out and enjoy that warmth and sunshine! #readywx
I am blown away by the work @DustinDemmer has done here. I designed my spring right-of-way project in 5 minutes.

@DorfKipp@Tom_Wachs@Rob_Haswell@fox6wakeup The top button fell off already so yeah forget the shirt. This snow is going to make me pull out all my hair. Wet and heavy with lake enhancement possible. Honestly right now 4-10" is the range possible and I'm not confident.
We’ve got you covered all night @EricManges is caffeinated will be here covering the back edge of the snow. @Rob_Haswell and our @fox6wakeup team start at 4am! Dry Wednesday but more snow Wednesday night.
I hope you had a WONDERFUL Christmas Holiday 🎄

@TylerMoorewx Get that good-looking/jacked/smart attitude outta here. You in my neighborhood now!! You gotta turn into a solid 5 like the rest of us guy meteorologists in Milwaukee.
“Life takes you unexpected places, love brings you home”
Incredibly blessed to announce that I will be coming home to Wisconsin as the morning meteorologist at TMJ4!
Not only will I be coming home to family & friends, but also working at a legacy TV station I grew up watching.
@SamKuffelWx Awesome stat Sam. Made me curious so 2012, 1988, and 1958 all had 8 such stretches of 10 days or more of nothing. Avg per year going back to 1947 is around 3.9 stretches of 10 days or more of no precip. More than I would have guessed.
Today was Milwaukee's 10th day in a row without precipitation. This is tied for the second longest dry stretch this year. Longest was 17 days at the end of May into June.
