He’s hitting the dogshit out of the ball. I still want to see him walk a little, because I feel like pitchers will start to expand the zone on him. But he’s swinging with intent, and it’s paying off.

This Angel Martinez development has been so freaking exciting. There’s a really good ballplayer in there, and we’re starting to see it.

@UnionAndBlue I know GMDW wants a hockey trade for him but the more he has played the more it feels like his value has crept down, unless they add him to a package I’m not sure they’re going to be able to get more than a mid-round pick right now

@CBJ_Opinions I agree, I think the only reason it is as big of a deal to some is because he was the only current player that they got back in the Jiricek trade (and he went back to the Wild)

@JacobsFieldRBW No one they call up is going to graduate as a prospect, so they can call them up and they will still be eligible for it (also as someone else said Valera isn’t eligible, he’s not a T100 prospect)

Are we so sure we want to promote any prospects right now? Because having three Prospect Promotion Incentive lottery tickets in George Valera, Chase DeLauter, and Travis Bazzana doesn’t sound like a bad way to start 2025.
