@dsilver88 No they couldn't. At least 2, maybe 3 years away from being a top 8 team and Cup contender (unless you're talking McJesus or McKinnon in their prime years, not at 20). Flyers need more experience, shore up depth, deepen defense, backup goalie.

I am NOT saying the Flyers are a contender, nor am I saying they don't still have work to do (they do). But if they can add a "good" (not necessarily a star) C, and backup G, and with Martone/Foerster coming in, this is a playoff team that is improving and still has a young core

President Trump says that the regime has been changed in Iran and that the leaders in charge now are very different from the ones who were causing problems before. Trump added, “Let’s see how they turn out,” referring to the current crop of leaders in Iran. The president also said that the war has been won and that the only people who want to keep it going are “the fake news.” Finally, he said the current regime in Iran “gave us a present,” adding that it was related to oil and gas.

I am also deeply concerned about the Gaza 20-point plan process being kept on track exactly because of the wider conflict in the Middle East.” Right. Nothing says “wider conflict” like ignoring the regime fueling it. Iran’s IRGC has spent years backing proxy groups and destabilizing the region —but sure, let’s pretend this all just… appeared out of nowhere. The same Iranian regime she barely mentions has been condemned for brutal crackdowns, killings of protesters, and widespread human rights abuses. @GalvinAlmanza At least in law firms 80-90% of associates are gone within 5 years. The "golden children" are identified early and the others just run up billable hours. Same with consulting and VCs, etc. So you'd eliminate the make work employees - 80 hour works weeks are more about hazing.

@DanielBordmanOG a few things: since WW II, we have these new int'l laws called the 1949 Geneva Convention & its additional protocol. you might want to read up on them. & Israel didn't just blow up bridges, it ethnically cleansed several hundred thousand people, & leveled entire villages.

If you think blowing up a bridge is a war crime you are the problem. The final scene in Saving Private Ryan is about blowing up a bridge. Denying your enemy the ability to move heavy equipment over a river is not against the Geneva convention or whatever.

Maybe. But right now, the dictatorships that were in place at the beginning of the second Trump administration are all in place now. All 3 places. A change in leaders is not a change in regime. In 1989, communist regimes became democratic regimes. But more drama to come.
