@GalvinAlmanza At least in law firms 80-90% of associates are gone within 5 years. The "golden children" are identified early and the others just run up billable hours. Same with consulting and VCs, etc. So you'd eliminate the make work employees - 80 hour works weeks are more about hazing.

@DanielBordmanOG a few things: since WW II, we have these new int'l laws called the 1949 Geneva Convention & its additional protocol. you might want to read up on them. & Israel didn't just blow up bridges, it ethnically cleansed several hundred thousand people, & leveled entire villages.

If you think blowing up a bridge is a war crime you are the problem. The final scene in Saving Private Ryan is about blowing up a bridge. Denying your enemy the ability to move heavy equipment over a river is not against the Geneva convention or whatever.

Maybe. But right now, the dictatorships that were in place at the beginning of the second Trump administration are all in place now. All 3 places. A change in leaders is not a change in regime. In 1989, communist regimes became democratic regimes. But more drama to come.

Independents and Republicans see Dems as much further left in self-identification than the average Dem sees themselves. Distorted views here.
