@EdmontonOilers @Enterprise In the first period last game, Oilers came out hard and played more of a man on man defence in their own end. It worked. Then they totally abandoned that and went into sleepy mode for the next two periods and look what happened.

@SportsnetSpec I’m seriously questioning Knobloch as an effective coach when he won’t address Bouchards giveaways. If Bouchard is allowed to keep doing it with no consequences, he’ll keep doing it and that’s what we’re seeing.

@byterryjones I don’t understand how Bouchard can be such an offensive threat and such a defensive liability at the same time. When it comes down to it, all he has is his Bouch Bomb. (Which was ineffective against Florida). Other than that his game has got nothing.

@edmontonjournal I live in the west end and the traffic is absolutely unbearable. They don’t want idling, but it usually takes 30 to 40 minutes just to go the last 500 meters past the mall on 178 street. All the city planners should be fired.

@meganalbu I think that for the most part, when the injured players are back in the lineup, we’ll be okay. The only questionable outlier is Knoblachs inability to coach Bouchard. That will be our tipping point.

It always confuses me to hear the rah rah rah from fans when the Oilers are winning, and then they lose a game or two and all of a sudden the organization is a joke, we wouldn’t be making the playoffs without 97/29, ect. Are people expecting perfection?! #LetsGoOilers

@byterryjones You can’t have a losing skid going into the playoffs and expect to go far. So many things wrong with the team right now. No fire in their game and default to playing 97 & 29 every 2nd shift.

And the Edmonton Oilers drop to third in Pacific with Los Angeles Kings win. NYIslanders Friday. NY Rangers Sunday. Got to stop bleeding NOW. They don’t want to open a playoff series in LA. Kings are 22-3-4 at home.

@OilersJack Every coach has done the same thing when things start to slide...pair up 29 & 97 for most of the game. Really shows the lack of depth this team has up front.

Knoblauch it’s been a blast - but I have a feeling we’re about to find out who coached Connor McDavid in Peewee pretty soon
