I think Rafael Stone is a very good GM but this answer is disingenuous. Dennis Schroeder checks every box he mentioned in what he wants in a PG. and he was available at a VERY reasonable price. And what makes it worse is that Reed Shepherd, who inherited Van Vleet’s minutes, is the OPPOSITE of the kind of PG he claims to value x.com/mshap2/status/…

I'd argue that because it triggered the hard cap, giving Finney-Smith the mid level was more destructive to the Rockets season than VanVleet blowing out his knee
