@DerekGiles11 Coen was smart to have Lawrence run more & look for Etienne in the passing game more like they did at Clemson It unlocks him more as a QB. Biggest question I have is who steps up as the receiving back, can Lawrence continue to run more, especially in RZ & stay healthy

I don't know how J'Mari Taylor went undrafted but interested to see him in the Jags deep backfield JAX has some talent & depth on offense: RBs: Tuten Rodriguez Jr Allen Jr Ameer Taylor Deejay WRs: Parker Jakobi BTJ TEs: Strange Boerkircher Koziol Morris Long
JaysonBraddock@JaysonBraddock

MOST UNDERRATED RB in 2026 Draft: J'Mari Taylor Liked him when I previewed him earlier this year. Love him after 3-game study to finalize review. - Physical - Shifty - Pass protection - Receiving threat in space - Short yardage - Goal line - Contact balance - Fights for yards

I mentioned to Doc that I didn't like BTJ's body language w Law Thomas & Nabers had horrific body language at LSU too but talent was evident. Curious to see BTJ this year Coen was smart to get Lawrence & Etienne passing game going. Curious on the pivot now that Travis is gone

Back for another year at my good friend's @DrRoto site Starting the 32 NFL team fantasy previews next week. They'll go live on July 1st A look back on the Jags 2025 preview: Felt Coen would unlock Lawrence like he did w/ Mayfield, Parker would breakout & Hunter would struggle

@DerekGiles11 True. I didn't include him as it seems he'll be more situational this year as they let him focus on CB but to your point, another talented option

Yesterday, @KPRC2's Aaron Wilson (@AaronWilson_NFL) covered the topic of C.J. Stroud's rushing ability in an OTA preview video on his Youtube channel. While praising Stroud's rushing as a needed asset to Houston's offense, he also made it clear that Stroud's concussion history is a concern. His video and my take are below ⤵️: #HTownMade 📸 by: @ESPN / @GettyImages / @PhotoBowles

Woody Marks on @KPRC2 w/ @KPRC2RandyMc & @AaronWilson_NFL on CJ Stroud’s offseason: “He’s been there since March 2nd since we started the offseason workouts. Got a new look, he kinda told me at the end of the season he was going to cut his hair. He’s been working. Just seeing a QB, the leader of the team be there, not somewhere else, putting in work at where he belongs at in Houston. He’s been doing a tremendous job, he’s gotten bigger, stronger, his times when running outside are getting faster. He should be using his legs a lot this year.”

The Houston Gamblers were so good with Jim Kelly running the show, Jerry Argovitz put up $1 million to challenge Bud Adams’ Oilers in a game at the Astrodome. Sadly, it never happened. Read more about Kelly’s time in Houston: houstonchronicle.com/sports/texans/… via @houstonchron

@OnlyOneKush My thinking as well. If they were going to sit in 4-2-5 all year, I'd be less cautious with it but I expect a big jump in 4-3 looks this year Expectations are a Super Bowl. Due to that & how team is built, I think they need as much quality depth as possible for a 20 game season

@JaysonBraddock Jamal Hill is an option. I guess we will find out what he looks like in camp but it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if they added a vet

Interesting on Jamal Hill. I like what Sarge says on seeing Hill's growth in camp but unproven with 3 defensive snaps Speed's injury hurts more this year with teams going to more 12/13 personnel, leading Houston to more 4-3 looks than in the past I'd add a vet LB to the room

@BigSargeSportz Coaches believing in him is big, glad you mentioned it. They don't miss often on defensive assessments. DeMeco knows what a LB is suppose to look like, adds more trust in what they're seeing behind the scenes.

@BigSargeSportz I know you aren't just throwing things out there. You're there every day & locked in. That's why it's interesting Hadn't given him much thought, so it was great to hear this take I'd personally like to see a proven vet added but if coaches believe he's ready, it'd make sense

@JaysonBraddock The LB’s and coaches are very high on him. They gave him somewhat of a learning curve having only played LB one year before he entered the NFL. The extended playing time could help him take that next step.

@Frank06788 @JON_GUERRA9 @midrangejumpr2 @conorduval The entire conversation & umbrella of discussions sprung up from Jags fan commenting on a post about Stroud's 4 first half INTs Everyone in Houston & nationally have talked about how bad of a performance it was all offseason We're just circling back at this point. No worries

Lot of rhetoric surrounding Stroud going into 2026. The talk has gotten silly due to recency bias due to the playoff games. We've forgiven Trevor Lawrence's 4-INT playoff half due to time. Stroud makes NFL throws & will continue to grow 1 of my favorite Stroud throws from 2025
JaysonBraddock@JaysonBraddock

This is just sick! SF brings 6 - Defensive lineman is only a yard away from Stroud with arm up & in passing lane - Stroud throws around him, to space & on the hands of Hutch to hit in stride for catch & run 10 out of 10 YAC throw 🎯

@leoisforgiven The comment is due to Lawrence being viewed as an upper echelon QB, now, after last season by most national media I think there's too much hype surrounding him but nationally he's viewed highly I get it, your point is always, "Stroud sucks"

@_bradforddavis @midrangejumpr2 @hutchison20411 @JON_GUERRA9 What has he carried them to? A divisional crown & 1st-RD home loss despite having a defense that was 2nd in Takeaways on the season? Trevor hasn't carried anyone. Coen had him lean on his legs & throwing to Etienne more like at Clemson Parker Washington stepped up at WR
