I’ll never drive gas engine again as main car. EV is simple, highly responsive and fast. And after owning one for 5 years, there’s hardly any upkeep. No oil, oil filters….brake pads don’t wear much/last forever. It’s a better tech than gas engine (fun to drive, no lag), it’s less costly to own by a lot….and I still get laid. Some like the loud gas engine, so they should stay away. But the rest should maybe take one for a spin before commenting.

JUST IN: Mt. Everest guides accused of “poisoning” climbers to trigger helicopter rescues as part of an insurance scam. The guides have allegedly been lacing hikers' food and pressuring them into taking expensive rescue helicopter evacuations. "Guides with the trekking agencies allegedly poisoned tourists by putting baking soda in their food to trigger severe gastrointestinal distress that mimicked altitude sickness or food poisoning," the New York Post reports. Operators would allegedly then forge medical documents and flight documents to charge international travel insurers. According to police, the groups have received $19.69 million in insurance payouts. Police in Nepal have charged 32 individuals for organized crime and fraud, including trekking company owners, helicopter operators, and hospital executives.

TSA should never have to be voted on for funding. Passengers pay fees for security in their airline ticket, and airlines remit it to TSA. Why on earth are we paying taxes and then a security fee each time we travel to only have TSA held hostage by congress. Good and bad when gov runs things. Army, good. Today, Philadelphia International Airport was forced to close a terminal because of a staffing shortage during the Democrats’ DHS shutdown. At PHL alone, 800 TSA agents are under strain, with some forced to take second jobs or stay home because they can’t afford basic expenses. Americans and our TSA agents deserve better.
