@HakarisupremaC Megumi began fighting back while Sukuna’s control over the body was atrocious. Not only that, we are explicitly told that Yuji’s attacks reduced Sukuna’s control and resulted in diminished output. All of this while still recovering from the Gojo fight. He was not at full power.

This leads me to another point. Both Sukuna and Yuji are at 120% potential during this fight and though Yuji is nerfing Sukunas soul, Sukuna had regained RCT output and due to his near six eyes level efficiency, simply having that allows him to go all out. He was ~full power

An actor needs to pull off everything, the characters whole existence needs to be done convincingly by one person. Now imagine every single actor in an episode doing so.

Eren with the warhammer doesn’t introduce any absolute restrictions. At most it allows him to encase himself, preventing death but not capture.

Marley also doesn’t have the technology to pack that much firepower into a normal sized rifle. A normal sized rifle capable of decapitating eren would be far more problematic.

@cody_cbmercer17 @anime_shots The cool factor on this decapitation enabled by the gun is great. Gabi making the shot isn’t a big deal, it’s a doable shot. The recoil is what’s actually unrealistic. They toned it down to make the gun justifiably usable. Both are conservation of momentum fails.

So we’re arguing against the realism the animators are supposed to focus on portraying through the show now…because of the “cool factor”…? We’re moving the goalpost AGAIN then because if you remember, when WIT worked on the show, there were segments of exposition displayed in the form pages describing what things are, how things worked, and why they exist. This helps establish world-building, which is something I value highly and is something the show got rid of after WIT handed the rest of the show to Mappa, who did, in comparison, a terrible job. There are things I am willing to overlook because of the “cool factor”, like the ODM gear’s physics, but not a CHILD supposedly “being trained” to land a PRECISE shot with a SNIPER RIFLE from YARDS AWAY with no consequences other than being flung backward, gashed by the scope (maybe??) and stunned by the recoil. The physics of the ODM Gear have literally nothing to do with the physics involved in this scene and to argue otherwise makes you sound retarded, as it’s you allowing the writers to make mistakes simply because mistakes exist in a completely different context, within the same show.

Making them physics compliant and decreasing the impact to alleviate the frustrations of nitpicking fans is a bad choice.
