@MarkCHealey Maybe you've talked about this -- but once Lindor went down, why in the world didn't they just shift Bichette back to Short and slot Baty in as the everyday third baseman?

Brett Baty is 2nd on the team with 12 RBI and has an .804 OPS with RISP so far. He's not the problem. He's part of the problem, sure, but this idea that he's the one who needs to go is laughable.

@MarkCHealey Good! It should. (I’m glad it isn’t my job but I do think Stearns outsmarted himself trying to get by w/out an ace. A bunch of #2 & #3 starters has been exposed and the ripple effect’s brutal. When there’s NO ONE you can count on for even 6 Innings, it’s a recipe for disaster.)

Try to enjoy this #Mets team while you can, because it is likely going to look very differently next season.
