This is the supply line. The clean water comes from a pipe in the wall and goes through that hose to the nozzle specifically sized for one of these hoses to fill the back of the toilet/the toilet bowl. When you flush, the waste goes down the hole in the bottom of the base which goes to a larger waste pipe in the floor which is an entirely different pipe than the one that holds clean water. You would have to figure out a way to screw that little white piece onto the bottom of the toilet to put waste water in the supply line. That's all I'm saying. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@AlphaB1tch @_jameshatfield_ You are the one who is mistaken, friendo. Do a basic toilet swap (meaning a house that already has plumbing and you're JUST replacing the toilet) and then come back and tell us how you can possibly make the waste water drain into the wrong place. It's an absurd notion.

That's absurd. I have been part of and seen dozens of toilet installs/swap outs, none of which involved messing with the plumbing in the walls or under the house. The only piece of plumbing you touch in an average toilet swap is the supply line and it only attaches to one place on the toilet? If this is their justification, they are just flat out lying to people.

Fuck Ford their newly filed patents scan you for: -stress -temperament -finger print -warrants -criminal background and more... every time you get behind the wheel. Ford can fuck the fuck off. Here's my favorite part, 6 years from now, after we've run this through the courts and they've spent hundreds of millions, and millions of Ford autos have this crap installed, the Supreme Court court will rule in favor of the people and outlaw this surveillance. ONLY law enforcement will have over rides on their vehicles to that ONLY law enforcement vehicles will allow highly stressed, bad temperament, chemical impaired persons to drive, if Ford has its way. Let that soak in.

If I were you, I would just dry it as best as humanly possibly and for as long as possible, keep the linoleum down as an underlayment and put lvp over the ruined (but dried) piece and then put a thick piece of shoe mold in front of the tub with clear or white silicone to glue it down AND to caulk to the tub and to the floor. If you put another piece of linoleum down and don't pull the tub, it'll just do the same thing. (I'm not a flooring guy, just a handyman-type so take my advice for what it is.)
