He said, "The UN has no legitimacy over this country whatsoever." He added, "We shouldn't be giving them money." A Foreign Office spokesman acknowledged the transatlantic slave trade was "abhorrent." However, the spokesman was clear: "The UK's position on reparations is clear – we will not pay them." This UN vote demands billions from British taxpayers.
