People should be free to worship, work and walk our streets without fear. The attack in Edinburgh is disturbing. Violence in our streets is bad enough but reports indicate some of the victims were targeted because they were Muslim. This is abhorrent.
I am glad police acted swiftly. The victims and their families deserve justice, and the public must have confidence that the law applies equally to everyone.

So I had my ex brother-in-law and sister-in-law stay over last night. Still two of my best friends after 40 years despite divorcing my ex-wife.
I don't hold judgment for the fact that they are still loyal to Tim's and actually like their coffee 🤷
So this morning we walked the block to my local Tim's, which I have never set foot in before. Ordered a decaf for my ex sister-in-law and they didn't have any. It's not that it wasn't made yet, but they didn't have any in the building.
@TimHortons - you have one primary job - coffee. If you can't even do that right, then you deserve to have Dunkin Donuts kick your ass.

Absolutely appalling.
No one should face violence on our streets. The suspect appears to be motivated by anti-Muslim hatred. I will not tolerate this - he will face the full force of the law.
My thoughts are with those who are injured and I thank the police and the emergency services for their response.

Looks like the fun police have struck again in Calgary, this time targeting the Calgary Stampede music scene. By reducing allowable noise levels and shutting shows down early on weeknights, the city will negatively affect hundreds of workers and create additional public safety and crowd-management problems due to guests leaving in a shorter timeframe. Many major festivals and entertainment districts across North America successfully operate without these types of restrictions. Stampede is one of Calgary's signature events, attracting hundreds of thousands of residents and visitors who come to enjoy the attractions, live music, and the unique energy of our city. The Mayor and Council should work with bylaw to reconsider these restrictions and work with festival operators to find a solution that balances community concerns with the economic and cultural benefits these events bring to Calgary. Section 6 is pretty definitive when you read it yet, when CV19 came along our domestic travel rights (Atlantic Bubble) were restricted with ease by the Premiers & supported by the courts & if you decide to become a non resident of Canada, it costs you a fortune for the privilege of leaving. #Crazy

I decide to leave Quebec/Canada because: 1) the taxation system is astounding, rendering it nearly impossible to accumulate enough money to truly retire 2) the government's open immigration policies have made it unsafe for my family to remain here (due to the exponential increase in Jew-hatred). Today I found out that I shall have to pay a departure tax for exercising my right to leave, and the money that will be taken from me (because the obscene amount of taxes that I've already paid in full is not enough) will be given to new incoming immigrants who hate Jews. My taxes funded my forced exit and will fund the harassment of any remaining Jews in Canada. It would take me 10+ more years of work to save the amount that is likely to be taken via the departure tax. Is this moral? Ethical? Just? In any case, off to bed. Tomorrow is a new day.

My aunt lived in Bridgeland almost 40 years old and walked ro thr Stampede..
My great grandparents lived in Victira Park until 1983 when she died. She loved the Stampede, the music
