I have so much I want to say about the developments at DOJ over the past 72 hours but I can't separate what I "can" say from what I "shouldn't" say in such a way as to make my comments coherent. But there are many names being thrown about who belong no where near the AG's office that it makes me LOL. Some of the names are not serious people -- and they are mostly being bandied about by people who are not serious. The AG needs to command respect -- and many of the names being tossed around are either 1) unliked and/or 2) not respected. Unlike nearly all the other Cabinet Officials, the AG's work is done almost entirely within the ambit of a co-equal branch of Government. Clown-car nominees are just that, and have no chance.

I'm not an anonymous account, I have posted my face and done nothing to hide my identity. Bacon being a politician does not enhance his credibility, contrary to your suggestion it does. What he said is a lie. He knows it's. Alie, that's why he coached it in vague terms, because any specificity would have immediately made it clear his claim was false. Obama fired generals weeks into his first term, for no cause. That is established fact. Bacon is lying by pretending otherwise.

The Secretary of Defense has the legal right to fire these Flag Officers, but it is not morally right nor wise. Further, he owes an explanation to the tax paying citizens.
