@Tom03413979 @tarkett_85 @itsbighonkin Walking 10k steps should have nothing to do with exercise. It is a bare minimum amount of movement everyone should be doing. Society is so unhealthy 10k steps is looked at like a goal rather than the bare minimum.

Walked over 10k steps 5 days in a row and whoever is pushing the idea that we should be hitting that every day is a liar who hates their feet

@GoodLuLuHart @tarkett_85 @itsbighonkin Google it, the 10k step trend was made up as a marketing campaign to sell pedometers by a Japanese company in the 1960s If you can walk 10k steps a day that’s great, but more realistically 7-8k steps is what’s considered optimal and results past that plateau

I have a question about Bryson’s bulge and roll irons? I “think” I can imagine how bulge and roll irons might be good for a bogey golfer, but a tour pros wear pattern is like the size of a nickel. @LouStagner Willy and Dan joked about this on his show on Wednesday. They each mentioned how their accounts gained hundreds of thousands of followers the last couple months for no reason whatsoever and how it has to be bots

A massive percentage of these new “followers” are bots. Go to the No Laying Up account, click on their “1M followers,” then click the “Followers” tab at the top. As you scroll, you’ll start seeing the same type of account over and over: ▶️No profile picture. ▶️That account is following 10 to 30 accounts. ▶️That account has zero followers of their own. I had this exact same thing happen to me last year, just on a MUCH smaller scale. Over a 4-day stretch, I saw a huge spike in followers. I track my account closely, and this was way WAY outside the norm. There was no logical reason for it. So I reached out to someone I know who used to work at X. He contacted someone who still works there. He told me: “Spoke to a buddy at X. He said it’s nothing to worry about. They are aware of the behavior and won’t penalize any accounts impacted by it.” I asked: “I just don’t understand what would prompt someone to do that. I just don’t get it.” He responded: “It’s most likely people just testing the fences. And you are collateral damage.” So from what I can tell, No laying up, Dan Rapaport, Michael Kim, Shooter McGavin, Will Wilcox (and probably others) have been hit by a massive bot-follower attack.
