@Blaird_Iris Will you retarget the mocap animation to a rig somewhere else? I imagine you could use constraints to make corrective bones help some of those hip issues.

I also added hip bone twisting to this model! I feel like it works especially well for characters with pants or tighter outfits ✨ Though honestly, this kind of range is pretty hard to fully utilize with mocap anyway, so it’s more of a “nice to have” detail than anything essential LOL For skirt-based outfits it probably isn’t as necessary XD I also did some extra work on the hands ww #WIP #3dart #twistbone

@pvrj22 Thank god I have Claire! Would be happy with Jill or Rebecca though. But Claire has been my crush since i was 13. She was more blocky and pixelly back then lol.

@OneGreatGambino Thank you! She has no textures yet and I think it should push it further lol. I'm trying to focus on getting things working. I'll have to see how far the material system in Godot will get me when i finally get around to finishing her uv maps and textures.

Wow, Godot is harder than I thought haha. but honestly, It's not hard enough to make me quit yet. I got my main goal done and that is to get my character walking around in a scene. Between using tutorials and grok, I was able to slap this controller together. #godot #gamedev #b3d

@OneGreatGambino Im much more experienced with unreal but im probably not going to keep this camera. It will likely be a fixed camera that pans around gently following the character.

@Vert3xual @nightshift_tony I'm not good enough to know how, but needs a smoothing where you have last direction and current direction facing, and the animation facing smooths between the two. To stop the snapping.

@Yumilu6 Thank you so much! Sadly I am used to ue5 so she was scaled up x100 and I realized godot doesnt need that so I lost all my animations when I fixed it. I Had to redo them. (Only 3, no big deal) I think they came out a little better. I might repost them later!

@Huaite_Crick I did the same thing! I saw oyatsu had the thigh and the shin bone not connected and from there i realized there must be a bone connecting them like you have set up. Its a little tricky to get the ik to bed right. But once you fix all the bones locations it works perfectly!

正座ができる脚に補助一本 膝は丸くされがちだけど、骨の形状からまん丸になる事はない ボーンは膝裏に近くないと綺麗に正座できないけど、骨盤の位置を変えれないので切り離してクランク状にした (逆くの字を避けるため) #Blender #VRChat
