We are thrilled to finally share the results of 20 months of dedicated work, involving 15 of the world’s leading neurovascular centers and the analysis of 2,647 patients. This effort has culminated in the validation of the M.A.R.T.A. Score (#Associated #Risks to the #Treatment of #Unruptured #Intracranial #Aneurysms), now published in @NeurosurgeryCNS : journals.lww.com/neurosurgery/a… This study aimed to develop and validate the #MARTA #Score, using routinely collected patient, aneurysm, and treatment data to #predict the risk of complications and help guide decision-making toward the treatment—#endovascular (EVT) or #neurosurgical (NT) for #unruptured intracranial #aneurysms. It performs strongly compared to other established scores, such as #SAFETEA and #SCC.
