Soon we’ll combine (a) the speed of execution seen in Taalas with (b) the duration of execution seen via METR. And get days of work done in seconds.

Love that google maps feature where you search for something 2 blocks away and the map pulls a 720 spin and zooms to outer space

recipe for happiness (in no particular order) 1. default tip 30% at regular spots (you’ll make friends and service will be upgraded) 2. have two types of days - maker and manager 3. attempt to build one small business that prints cash quietly (never sell it) 4. buy the expensive version of things you use daily when you can 5. live where ambitious 25 year olds are moving (at least once) 6. have a spot you can walk to when life feels like it's imploding 7. keep "regret prevention" budget - use weekly without guilt 8. find your zone - the 4 hours you're actually good 9. know your number - when you'd actually stop (then downshift) 10. take one massive risk every 5 years 11. have rich friends who still eat street food 12. keep one email thread with big life updates 13. move near other founders with similar aged kids 14. buy index funds monthly, forget password 15. one hour daily must be pure creation 16. learn the names of everyone at your local spots 17. live walking distance to close friends 18. have an open door policy with 3 close friends 19. ship creative projects often 20. be the friend who makes things happen 21. make eliminating recurring frustrations priority one 22. spend time with people who make you feel behind 23. go to sleep excited for your morning ritual - make it so good you can't wait to wake up 24. know exactly what city you'll retire in 25. never take advice from people playing small games 26. live beneath your means 27. cook dinner with no phone nearby 28. avoid status purchases 29. say no to things you really don't want to do 30. split annual rent into 13 payments, use extra month for impulse trips 31. Find a life partner you love to do life with 32. laugh a lot

long layover? Find a Korean spa. Great place to kill a few hours. There are King Spa locations close to EWR, ORD, DFW Spa, food, massage, shower for the same price as lounge access; some of them are 24/7

I’m super excited to announce that I’m joining @OpenAI as Chief Product Officer! My entire career has been about working on big missions: connecting people and ideas at @Instagram and @Twitter, digitizing financial services at Libra/Novi, or most recently at @Planet, using space to advance global security, sustainability, and transparency. OpenAI’s mission to build AGI to benefit all of humanity is perhaps the most important and transformative of them all.

I'm back to building! Excited to share I've started a company with @pariljain and @lukeholoubek. We're building bots that do chores so you don't have to. Everyone is busy. Bots can help. So many things compete for our time - commutes, longer working hours, and the complexities of modern life. Our team has spent years building robots (including the self-driving kind) that give people some of that time back, and we're taking that a step further with this company. We've raised $150m from an amazing group of investors and entrepreneurs, led by @natfriedman, @danielgross, and @nabeel. Also including @QuietCapital, @patrickc, @collision, @eladgil , @byersblake, @fiftyyears, and many more. More to come soon! Follow our progress here @thebotcompany.
