@vixievexed I do believe there is nuance. There are games I have no interest or ability to play where the story is engaging enough that I want to know the lore. There are also games I've attempted to play and just can't beat for whatever reason. I do think the caveat is allowed within reason

Is it okay to say you enjoy the game if you like the story/lore/aesthetics etc. but not the gameplay?
There are some games that I enjoy watching but wouldn't enjoy playing.
I feel like there's more nuance then just, "You can only like a game if you played it"

Tomodachi Life and Rythm Heaven have existed for awhile and Pokopia is a Minecraft/DQ Builders clone. Only Bananza gets a pass.

Okay, imo now we can be pretty sure Switch 2 can't run current gen only games like Monster Hunter Wilds, FF16 etc. without some very serious development work and optimization. I think we can expect many PS4 level games to be ported to Switch 2 tho!

i'll never understand this alternate word xenoblade 2 fans live in where 3 was some traitorous depatrure from the series' aesthetics, when it feels much more in line with xenoblade 1, and *2* is the outlier with 90% of the characters looking like they're from a gacha game.

@DarkHado69 Coming back to this game with all its QoL updates was such a treat. Yeah it has flaws. . .still utterly breathtaking. One of the few games I actually stopped for screenshots.

you get given rare blades enough to fill up each party member and that's without DLC, there's quests for Theory, Praxis, Vess, Kasandra, Herald, and the fact that you can just buy Sheba
just wait for the endgame to start farming legendary core crystals

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Switch 2 Edition screenshots! 60 FPS at 4k Resolution is nice, but what Xenoblade Chronicles 2 really needs is an update to the gacha mechanics. Every rare blade should be available for in-game purchase. I hope that's something they implement.

Yup. This game was heavily inspired by over two decades of JRPG designs, barely did anything revolutionary & it simply got treated as revolutionary cause it didnt have an anime aesthetic

@MaritheKity See. I did every hero mission as it came up and I HAVE to wonder if part of the reason I just didn't like 3 is because those hero quests ground the pacing of the game to a stand still.

The side quests had important stuff in them because it was by design. Xenoblade 3 is a game about linking up the people of the world and rallying them all against the overwhelming terror and fear of change by evaporating the comfort roles they've found themselves in.

Discordo veemente disso aqui. O único problema na lore de XC3 é que mtas sides quests assim como no X deveriam estar na Main Story, pois tem MTA coisa que vc desenvolve e não aparece e nem é citado em momentos chaves do jogo e fica mto estranho, pois são eventos importantes.

@DefinitelyFort Because it's likely the first time it happens to every player. Other games don't do that. And unless you actually map out colony 9 and run into the level 70+ mobs you haven't encountered anything drastically above your level.

Xenoblade 2's tutorials are notorious for either saying too little, or even telling outright bullshit, and one example of this is the fact none of them even bring up what the Idea stats even do lmao.

Mosey has been with us for 2 weeks and it has been absolutely delightful. He is so much fun. We read your comments about another kitten and how helpful that can be. We decided we weren't going to search that out, but if it was meant to be it would be - only in that ideal kitten bonding window, though. During a country drive a few days ago I thought I saw another kitten on the highway! It ended up being a groundhog. 😂
Today we were driving through the Ozarks after a change of plans due to tornado warnings and thunderstorms and were joking about what would happen if we saw another Mosey Kitten on the highway when... BAM - cool old truck with a "FREE KITTENS" sign. Are you kidding me? Okay. Discussion time. Only if they're the same age as Mosey. Only if we get a good feeling about it, etc.

Driving down the highway and saw this sweet little tabby kitten horrified on a bridge in the middle of farmland. So, naturally I had to jump out of the car, run next to the bridge and call for the kitty before she got ran over. She ran right to me under the bridge, meowing and crying and jumped right into my arms. Guess I have a new kitten? I've never had a kitten. I know nothing about kittens. Here we go!
