When it comes to President Trump's war in Iran, we need to be clear about what we put into it and what we get out of it. The deal on the table is not even comparable to the Obama deal. It's worse by a lot. By about $300 billion and a bunch of vague language.

The Memorandum of Understanding with Iran, as currently drafted, does not go nearly far enough to permanently prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon while being silent on the regime’s ballistic missiles and drone program, its support of terrorist proxies like Hezbollah and Hamas, and its horrific oppression of the Iranian people. This is not the nuclear deal anyone anticipated when the war started three months ago, more closely resembling a Trump-Vance capitulation agreement. As things stand now, Iran is winning this negotiation round.
