@tibber_nl De grafiek in jullie app heeft moeite met een negatief verbruik, dankzij de lage negatieve prijzen vandaag 😁

@hobdaydesign My colleague reached out to you (I think through DM). Curious to explore options together!

I left my £100k/yr job. I want a £30k/yr job. Hire me. You'll struggle to find a better interface designer at that salary. Only two conditions: 3 days a week and fully remote. As long as this post is pinned, I'm still looking.

@hobdaydesign @linear @culturedcode Agree! My initial reply (“it’s not growing and might not survive”) came from a feeling that a lack of new features is bad. That feeling might be the whole reason behind software enshittification. Apparently I’ve been infected by it as a consumer as well 😊

@jhogervorst @linear @culturedcode Things is high quality software. I've used it for years and I don't think they've ever added a new feature. I'd also argue it's still small in terms of features/screens/moving parts. They've taken the right approach to maintain quality.

@hobdaydesign @linear @culturedcode On second thought, maybe Things is a good counterexample. It’s still being updated for new OS versions and performance/stability, but I suppose its makers consider it feature-complete, hence the lack of new features. But that actually is the reason it doesn’t get shitty 😊

@karrisaarinen @tommoor @linear Another related annoyance: in iOS notifications for new issues, I only see 1 or 2 words of the issue title, but I see 4 lines with useless stuff. (I don’t care about those subscriptions.) I realize this is partly an iOS design issue, but anyway 😊

@karrisaarinen @tommoor @linear The biggest annoyance to me is “Marked as completed by GitHub”. Also “Issus added” when it was added by myself through an integration (Intercom or Sentry).

@thomaspaulmann @wesbos Or is it a psychological trick to already make you a bit angry when opening X, causing more extreme reactions?

@Winterrose What would be great is to have a general consent on the browser and in the rare occasion that a website has something extra to be like an allowlist, or just have an option to consent to all

@levelsio There are also labs in The Netherlands where you can go without a prescription. Of course it’s not covered by your health insurer then, so you would have to pay for it.

I was never able to do blood tests when I asked for it in Netherlands Doctor asked "why? you're not sick?" Then I tried in Portugal (at Germano de Sousa) but they never picked up the phone or when they did were so slow and unhelpful I gave up, they also require a doctor prescription btw The first place I could get my blood tested was Thailand in 2018, I just walked into Bumrungrad and asked for it, amazing experience Last few years we just fly to Brazil and do it here, the nurse comes to your home/hotel at 8am and takes your blood, same or next day results online I find it funny I keep having to fly out of Western Europe to do blood tests, they make it impossibly hard to do them Which is retarded
Nuno Guerra@nunowar

@levelsio Who is your doctor in Portugal who can prescribe all the tests you want to do?
