Dropped my son off at camp this morning. His teacher caught me at the door and said he's been "providing unsolicited peer feedback" during group projects. I asked what that means. She said he told his group their poster board plan "doesn't make sense" and that they should "just start with the hard part first." She said they're working on "collaborative communication." My son was standing right there. He looked up at me and said, "Dad, they wanted to color first and write second." I looked at the teacher. She looked at the floor. He was right. Rachel Duffy knowingly had a child at 47, which dramatically increased their chances for all kinds of genetic disorders. Which one of her siblings signed up to take care of this child after Rachel and Sean Duffy are too old or too weak to care for her? Down syndrome kids are incredibly strong if they get mad. And the higher functioning ones KNOW they are different and are lagging behind. Maybe the Duffys should have worked as a parapro for a school that serves developmentally delayed teens/adults (til age 26). It would have been a real eye-opener for them

Denver City Council blocked Denver International Airport from leasing space to Key Lime Air, because the airline worked with ICE. There was just one problem… It violates FAA rules. So what did they do? City attorney Miko Brown allegedly urged the airport to fabricate an investigation into the airline’s safety record to cover up for illegally discriminating against the airline for political reasons. When word got out, Brown and Mayor Mike Johnston flat out denied it. However CBS just obtained an internal airport memo appearing to reveal the entire thing was true.
