BREAKING: Trump announces "Project Freedom," a unilateral US Navy operation starting Monday morning to forcibly escort foreign ships out of the Strait of Hormuz, saying "if this process is disrupted, we will deal with it by force."
Just a few hours ago, the IRGC ordered all ships out of UAE ports and announced initial military actions to lift the US blockade. Iran was already in position to respond to exactly this scenario.
US Navy escorts will move into waters where the IRGC has been seizing commercial vessels, has laid sea mines for weeks, charges over $1 million per ship in tolls, and operates hundreds of fast attack boats with anti-ship missiles. Direct US Navy-IRGC kinetic engagement will start this Monday morning.
